Rare W.W.I. Silver RAF pilot wings sweetheart brooch. Royal Flying Corps patterned wings of the Swift. Decorated with green and red enamel on the laurel wreath and kings crown. The back is stamped ‘Silver’.
These brooches were known as ‘sweethearts’ purchased by airmen and given to their loved ones.
